D.W.'s Baby:
The episode starts off with Arthur watching videos of his and D.W.'s first birthdays; Arthur sneezed out his candle and got cake in his mother's face, while D.W. waved out her candle while asking for her presents. D.W. films Arthur during Kate's birthday. He gets annoyed when she lies upside down to film him. D.W. jokes she's trying to make Arthur look more interesting, but it's hopeless. When filming Kate, D.W. claims that little sisters are more interesting than brothers. Arthur points out that she didn't always feel that way and reminds D.W. of what happened when Kate first came home from the hospital.

D.W. is excited about being an older sister (especially since her new sibling is a girl), to the extent of yelling and jumping in excitement upon Kate's arrival and stalking her sister's every move, including listening to her sleeping. However, she becomes frustrated when her parents won't let her help with the baby, even though D.W. (at least in her own opinion) is a "baby expert." D.W. is also impatient about Kate sleeping so much. Nadine advises her to give her parents time, since grown-ups are "slow-learners".
When Jane has to go grab something from upstairs and asks Arthur to keep an eye on Kate, Nadine tells her that this is her chance to show her mom how much of a "baby expert" she is. D.W. intervenes to sterilize Kate's pacifier. After Buster and Francine come over to check out the new baby, Kate starts crying. D.W. tries to take charge and comfort her, but nothing's working. D.W. notices a foul smell and says "P.U.!" Before she hands Kate over to Arthur to get a clean diaper, Arthur ends up helping her poop (the real reason she was crying). When Jane comes in to see what all the commotion was about, Buster explains what happened and everyone's happy that Arthur and Kate have finally bonded--everyone except D.W., that is.
D.W. becomes jealous when her parents let Arthur help with the baby but not her, though she gets excited when Kate's crib is moved into her room. However, D.W. soon finds that sharing a room with Kate will be a lot stinkier than she thought.
D.W. is in the middle of a tea party with her dolls when she detects another unpleasant odor. "P.U.!" she exclaims, wrinkling her nose before going to investigate the source. To her dismay, D.W. finds her mother, Jane, and baby Kate in the corner of the room. It becomes apparent that Kate is the source of the smell. D.W. holds her nose and compares the smell in the room to that of a daycare. She quickly runs towards the window for fresh air, but before she reaches it, Jane unexpectedly fills her diaper. D.W. says that it smells even worse, before waving her hand in front of her nose and gagging. To her surprise, D.W. notices that even her doll is "pooping" its diaper. Disgusted, she frantically waves her hand over her nose and gags even more.
The next day, D.W. is playing in her room when she notices an unpleasant odor once again. She complains to her mom, saying that Kate needs a diaper change. But Jane just stands in the doorway, filling her own diaper. D.W. can't stand the smell and runs out of the room, screaming, while clutching an air freshener.
The following morning, Jane is feeding Kate when Kate lets out a fills her diaper. Jane congratulates her, but then she herself fills her own diaper. Jane then yells at D.W. to eat her cereal, but D.W. refuses, saying, as the smell has ruined her appetite.
D.W. seeks advice from her friends at the sandbox. They suggest she gets rid of Kate, but D.W. explains that her parents like her. When asked if Kate has ever done anything bad, D.W. complains that all Kate does is poop and stink up the house. Her friends are disgusted by this, and just as they're discussing it, Jane and Kate walk by. Jane has an accident, and the kids hold their noses. D.W.'s friends suggest that she frame Kate.
The next day, as D.W., Jane, and Kate pass by a demolition site, D.W. tries to frame Kate. However, Jane explains that it was just a demolition machine before filling her diaper. D.W., lost in her thoughts, accidentally walks right into the seat of Jane's diaper. D.W. is grossed out. But Jane presses her dirty diaper against D.W.'s face and has another accident, releasing even more foul smells. Jane even sits on D.W. and lets out a loud fart in her face. The smell becomes so overpowering that even Jane has to hold her nose.
The next day, D.W. is confronted by her father about his shoes being in the dishwasher. D.W. blames Kate for it, but her father sends her to her room.
Feeling upset, D.W.'s imaginary friend, Nadine, appears to console her. However, the smell is too much for Nadine, and she holds her nose, and complains about the smell. D.W. laments that she's out of options. The girls are suddenly hit with the lingering odor of Kate's most recent dirty diaper. Both girls hold their noses and exclaim, "P.U.!"
The next day, at a garage sale, D.W. tries to sell Kate to an elderly neighbor, but her plan fails. The neighbor informs Jane, who comes over and fills her diaper in D.W.'s face before sending her inside.
D.W. is watching TV and sees a special on monkeys. She gets the idea to run away to a nearby island and convinces her grandmother to drive her there. On the way, her grandmother mentions how Kate will now have to look up to Arthur. D.W. suddenly realizes the error of her ways and demands that her grandmother take her home.
Upon returning home, D.W. is greeted by a frantic Jane, who expresses her worry for not being able to find her. Ignoring her mother, D.W. picks up Kate and reassures her, saying that she will teach her everything because that's what big sisters are for. Kate giggles, and just as D.W. holds her at arm's length, she detects a familiar stench.
D.W. winces in disgust, before turning her head away from the smell. She reminds Kate, "Mommies and Daddies change all the diapers."
