The brave little key Warning: Spoilers
The first short film by comic book artist Troy Nixey, director of the Don't Be Afraid of the Dark 2010 remake is rather unusual, yet whimsical tale about anthropomorphized keys trying to escape from a monster.

Some aspects from the plot are not exactly very clear (Who is this mechanical monster? Why does he needs "eating" keys?) but the short certainly succeeds in making the key characters likeable and endearing, despite not even having a face or a voice: Words are not even necessary for them to steal the short film from beginning to end.

While the plot feels a bit more stretched than necessary, the result is still worth-watching. A shame it doesn't seem to be very well known, since it at least deserve some recognition for its originality. And also for making keys so charming.
