Tom finally has enough of sleeping in the garden shed and tells Mrs Giles about the true identity of Max, naturally she doesn't listen. Tom offers a favour, in return for telling the old last the truth.
It's funny, another really lovely episode, plenty of laughs again, seeing old Mrs Giles hitting Tom with her wig, so funny. Some really very funny lines also, why is this show so unfairly forgotten.
The acting is so good, but each time I watch an episode, I am just blown away by the comedy genius and timing of Liz Smith.
What a lovely show this was, so many sitcoms sprang up in the 1980's and 1990's, and many, like this, were very good. Why is it so hard for anyone to produce a half decent sitcom.
7/10.
