Shot in the closing stages of the UK's third Covid enforced lockdown in April 2021.
Originally produced on stage at the Etcetera Theatre, Camden, London, UK in February 2020.
The role of 'Sister Andrea' was written directly for actress Rachael Sparkes to follow on from Carretta's 2019 feature 'Princess In The Castle'. Sparkes played the character on stage in February 2020 at Etcetera Theatre, Camden but Covid issues and the UK lockdowns prevented her from being involved with a screen performance.
The entire film was shot at The Avenue Theatre, Sittingbourne in 6 days beginning Easter Monday 2021. The set had been built from scratch by Director Al Carretta with additional assistance from AD Brett Thorne over Easter Weekend 2021. Reshoots and pick-ups in the environment were not possible as UK lockdown rules were being lifted the day after the shoot was wrapping. With the theatre moving back into full operation the massive stage-covering apartment had to be dismantled overnight from Saturday into Sunday. By Sunday afternoon, no trace of the set was left.
