I agree with the previous reviewers, basically my 9 is just me being cautious with giving top ratings, reserved for completely unexpected, never-before-seen experiences. To build on the other reviews, the McAllister solo shootout near the end felt very much like the Gears of War videogames: viewed from close, up and behind our hero/character, giving us pretty much the hero's field of view, moving along a path with lots of covers to use, crouching, switching weapons, picking up weapons from killed enemies etc.
And this was by no means a ripping-of thing. After seeing the scene, I find myself wondering just why they hadn't done it in the show sooner. This kind of shootout fits perfectly in a show called Strike Back.
