Warning: Spoilers
This episode is schizo. Two distinctly different - but parallel - storylines. Both storylines bonafide cra-cra.

White rappers OD'ing? A rap legend hiding out in a Rally's bathroom? (Yes, plenty of Rally's and Checker Burger joints in metro ATL.) OG rappers building a stable of YWAs? Rappers running a career-builder seminar?

Sometimes the philosophy is apparent or the story's point is easy to discern. Not this time. Earn shoots off his mouth and gets himself in a serious jam. PaperBoi is on the road to becoming a first class manager when his YWA offs himself.

I love this show. Never a dull moment.

I hope the episodes weave themselves into a long story arc, but halfway through season four, it looks like they won't. That makes each episode three standalone little 30-minute films. Short works of art, yeah?

Guaranteed to be interesting, up-to-the-minute, provocative, and difficult to forget.

Warning: Spoilers
1. Al gets financial advice 2. Earn looks for D'Angelo 3. Al goes to the Grammys

This was an interesting episode. It was focused on the music industry and about legacy in the business. Al learns about people who try to stay relevant through nurturing "YWA"s in the music business as all music grows old and new people keep coming up. Earn looks for D'Angelo to sign him but instead there waits a man for Earn who is not actually D'Angelo but an experience of him. That's thought provoking. When we chase an artist, it's not necessarily the person we care about but rather than packaged presentation of it. The real person behind the persona may be unimportant to many and only cares about the experience.

That being said, I felt that this episode was slightly less captivating than some of the previous ones. It was funny to some extent but I found myself losing my attention a little bit.
