What are lives worth? And where do we draw the line in comparing humans and animals with each other? And if an animal shows aggressive tendencies towards one human ... who's fault is it? These and some other questions are asked and need answers here - maybe you feel the same way.

The movie seems overall normal at first, but you can feel something isn't entirely right. And the moment the pig farm story comes up ... well everything goes downhill from there. With an exhilarating pace that is. The end twist is something I don't like at all. It feels put upon ... but the violent rest before that is rather suspensful to watch - in mostly a good sense.

above average b movie thriller....

Solid premise, watchable story that was executed well and the 6 actors did a good job.

Unfortunately the last 10 minutes just ruined the whole movie for me.

A great movie is only as good as its ending.

And this ending brought it down a whole 1.2 points

Watchable first half then loses its way

Snooty couple with young daughter are neighbours to an odd couple with a volatile German Shepherd who then fall out when the dog bites the daughter. I think up until the point the dog attacks the little girl and consequently gets put down sending the owners (in particular the lady owner) into craze mode, up to that point it was alright and then after the event it tails off into a home invasion movie and gets ridiculous and tedious to a point. Characters getting knocked out and then a moment later vanishing. Didn't like the couple with the daughter in particular the wife so there was no one to vouch for in this. Little twist at the end. Rating about half marks, average.

GREAT, TENSE AND SCARY!

A really disconcerting theme and very exciting and terrorific movie, and a great combination of suspense and horror! Best psychological horror I have seen in a long while.

This movie is,a little, for a hardcore audience, the violence is somehow not extremely raw and quite stylized.

The script is the main highlight proposing a very important topic nowadays, and developing a great combination of suspense and horror, and increasing the horror as the story progresses.

The negative for me is the somewhat chaotic second half, it turns off the dynamic of the 1st part a little. Having said this, it does not take away from the suspense and terror of the story in my opinion. It is still horrifying.

If you are a fan of horror movies, this is definitely a must see.!

One of the worse movies I have had the displeasure of viewing.

Only one thing to say and that is . . . Are there no police where the main chaty were living? Mum commits murder at the end of the film? Whole thing makes little or no sense. Thank God it's over!

You will assume is well acted if you do not speak Spanish

Laughable acting, horrible characters (even the "good ones") you will dislike every non dog moving thing on this movie. Grafic depiction of animal abuse, clearly no writen script, and terrible improvisation by the 6 actors on the movie.

Nothing in this movie works, they all act horrible, the characters are stupid, what happens makes no sense, they sell it as horror but the suspense is not even achieved, the plot takes too long to appear, it is full of conveniences , you cannot empathize with any character, here you will meet the worst parents in the world, the message they want to give is not specified and the movie ends up being cyclical and boring.

If they are going to keep making movies like this, they better not do anything.

This mexican horror movie is actually better then last american horror movies i watched.

Of course it depends on the viewer's expactations. This one is clearly for horror fans. It's not a decent drama.

Not bad at all, on the contrary

This film belongs to the new generation features showing complex schemes melting psychological dramas and character study, with horror. For instance neighbours becoming friends before everything gets awry, see for instance THE RENTAL, not far from this kind of topic and atmosphere. Not so predictable and usual, with always a good twist at the end. This one makes no exception. I don't understand why so many people don't like this one. Some unbearing scene of animal killing sequence. Maybe the producers should have more focused on the dog owners.
