- This short documentary film was produced for the purpose of flying with the Skydive Utah, LLC, to allow Brennan Callan to visit a field where his deceased friend and that friend's family used to fly from. They helped Callan to connect to his memories of his friend and better understand his friend's life and his passion for aviation, which eventually and tragically took Callan's friend's life (at a different field). The skydivers in this film, as did his dear friend, all appreciate and respect that aviation is unforgiving, but they pursue it anyway. Just like so many pilots from Salt Lake City, Callan's friend and other pilots in his family, used the Tooele Airport (KTVY) to practice their skills. So only positive memories and recollections were affiliated with this field for them and for Callan. The "Skydive Utah" folks were professional, fun, and respectful of Callan's attempts to connect with his deceased friend while riding along on two flights with them. As an Aeronautical Scientist himself, Callan felt they ran a safe operation. While Callan did not jump with them, riding along with them made him feel familiar and comfortable with their operations.—Honorable Brennan James Callan Col.
