You can often tell when a show goes down - it's when the writers begin sacrificing the characters for every silly, desperate idea they come up with. This one goes down hard. Last season was great, compared to the last few episodes. Don't get me wrong, I don't have particularly high expectations for W&G, it always has been kind of silly. But they respected the characters.
