I always find it hilarious when actors from a crime TV shows meet the "real" police officers in the show. They always talk about the the fact that the shows never get it right and I have to laugh every single time.

Also, did I miss when West and his nurse boyfriend broke up?? I just thought we hadn't seem him for a while but I didn't realise they weren't together anymore.

Best part of the episode? I love that Chen and Rachel stood up for Malcolm when no one else did. I also really like this West-Sterling thing that's going on. (If he and his boyfriend actually broke up and he's not cheating, of course.)

Worst part of the episode? It's never fun when the murderer (or suspected murderer) is a child.

Wesley is still traumatized with the stabbing in the fallout shelter. Nolan is renovating his house when, out of the blue, the former owner appears asking for the address of his ex-wife Barbara. Chen is working in the PD front desk when an old lady brings a dog with blood. Tim and she head to the owner's house to give the dog back and find that she is dead with multiple stabs and they find a boy hidden in the closet. Harper learns that her friend Eve that she met when she was working undercover is in the hospital after being savagely beaten. Harper uses her alias Crystal and learns that the dangerous Ripper is back in town. West is chasing a criminal on the streets and when he captures the guy, he stumbles upon the TV star Sterling Freeman that invites Lopez and him to go to the studio to teach the practice of a police officer.

"Breaking Point" is an episode of "The Rookie" with many storylines. The most impressive is the plot of the stabbed woman and the others are reasonable. My vote is eight.

Great episode. Undercover Nolan was entertaining. He and Harper are a dynamic team.
