Uncertainty

The past 3 episodes ended in heartbreak, and now this changed the game and ended with uncertainty. Magnus is kind of a jerk after he got fired, but we have to see his side of the story in the next part.

Surprisingly refreshing

After the last two episodes, I was thinking about giving up on this show, but this one was a lot better once it got going. It still had its flaws. Anna sounds like she has a cold the entire episode, and I would have done anything to have her sound somewhat normal. I also think these episodes are too short. You don't really have time to get into these relationships, so you don't feel emotionally connected. But this was a step in the right direction, and Darby actually got some much-needed character development.

After the Danny Two Phones debacle. Darby meets Magnus Lund. He showers her office with flowers and soon they move in together.

Darby's life is on the up. She gets promoted. Magnus's life is going down. He loses his job and he has racked up debts.

Once again Love Life delves into the messy side of relationships. It makes it slightly more realistic and also darker.

Magnus lives his life like a demolition derby. A definitely red flag that this man has issues.

The episode definitely has some suspense, but follows similar format

Warning: Spoilers
This show seems to have the same format: things are going great, a tragedy happens, she is supportive and sweet while the guy falls apart and ruins things. This happens yet again where things are great until he loses his job and things she ignored are now unavoidable. It held my attention, but is getting a little redundant for my taste.
