Just finished the episode...
rebelxo24 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
So I just finished watching "Episode 100" and I must say... I quite enjoyed it. It was a much needed story building episode after what feels like non stop action from the last five episodes. Some scenes in this episode were brilliant. Two standouts in this episode have to be John Carroll Lynch and Zach Villa. I can forsee the rest of the season now that we have a clearer direction with where we're going. I cannot wait for Margaret to die a horrible death that she deserves. And it was nice to see some old characters return dead or alive. This episode had some cool moments, was well written and acted. The only downside I felt was that it didn't feel like a "special 100th episode". It felt like any other episode from any season... but that's ok. I can't wait for episode 7! Also, this season is going by so fast! :( I can't believe there's only 3 episodes left and then that's it...

100 down, 3 more to go
Drank2224 October 2019
Another fun episode with lots of twists and turns and the unexpected. However, did feel kinda of a let down in terms of the 100th episode as I think everyone was expecting something major or connections to other seasons or whatever. Yet, it stuck to itself (probably for the better) and quickly moved along the plot to the next arc. Though, we can't really blame them for not having anything 'special' happen for the 100th as there is no real reason/need to. The tie in to Asylum was a great Easter egg. The time jumps seemed a bit jarring at times... would have liked to see at least a few moments between this episode and immediately after the last scene(s) in the last episode. Something to show what went down and how we got to 1985/1989. Yet, it still managed to fill in the missing Pieces well enough, just would have liked to see some of the aftermath. I thought the acting this episode was really good as well. The end scenes were well done to build suspense and I was honestly surprised by what happened, or at least who was involved. Till next week where it seems like it going to be packed full of carnage and mayhem.

"What, you don't got Billy Idol in France?"
rebsothoth24 October 2019
From the minute it started, this was one wacky episode! While there was murder aplenty, it strayed pretty far from the 80s slasher genre. Leslie Grossman's new lifestyle was hilarious, and it was nice to see John Carroll Lynch finally get some momentary happiness. The music was great if you're a fan of the odd combination of Billy Idol, REO Speedwagon, and The Smiths. Good to see a familiar face from past seasons popping in for a visit, too! It was a bit of comparative light after the long night, but it's headed straight back into the darkness as everyone, living and dead, gets pulled back into the Camp for the next episode.

The Aftermath
jpismyname26 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
AHS: 1984 is really a great season! Episode 100, however, is the weakest episode by far. It's still good, but not as good as the previous episodes.

I definitely love the storyline of the ghosts being trapped in the camp just like the ghosts are trapped in Murder House and Hotel Cortez. I love the acting, love Emma Roberts and Leslie Grossman, the actors playing Ramirez and Mr. Jingles are also fantastic, I also love Leslie Jordan's appearance as Courtney. Also, there are also a few surprising plot twists, and the ending I was like "whaaaaaat???"

Anyway I'm excited to see more.

Really Great Episode, Just Not Up to Par with The Previous 5 Episodes

Warning: Spoilers
This is a really good episode and I love how the characters lived on after the 1984 massacre, but still not the biggest fan of the whole Satan twist since that's all last season was about.

Episode 100

Warning: Spoilers
Not crazy about the time jumps and the events taking place outside of the camp here. There were some funny parts tonight for sure, but this is probably the third week of some absolutely questionable story developments for AHS.

Thank you
greenwhich25 October 2019
This season is EPIC. As good as it gets with this show. Comparison its opening huanted house, and the hotel, lady gaga, were my favorites. The hype train hasn't run out in this season, wait for next week every episode. Hooked. Hopefully it doesn't on ending either. And it's pure slasher. But I love the theme this time, those 80s.

Thanks for the entertainment.

It's amazing how this season is evolving through out the whole universe of the series, at the same time connecting it's history and playing an important homage to the theme of this season by making the 100th episode the begginig of a sequel to a 80s horror film. Bravo.

Failed Execution

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with Richard, he stays in a hotel together with Jingles. Richard runs away, he got beaten up. Montana stabs down Dustin with a knife. It is 1985 and it gets clear that Trevor survived the attack on him. Brooke is going to be executed for her actions. Richard has also been put in jail. Xavier killed Dustin's girlfriend. Jingles has a new life together with Lorraine and his son. Margaret gives a press conference at Camp Redwood. Brooke gets executed, she died afterwards. The Prison Guard changed into Satan's helper. Jingles found Lorraine dead, Richard did this. Brooke survived her execution, she gets revived by Rita. Nice episode of American Horror Story Season 9, this episode blocked the storyline a bit. Next episode will Camp Redwood be back!

Interrupted the momentum
hnt_dnl24 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I guess this episode was necessary as a sort of holding pattern to set up the last few episodes, but I frankly didn't enjoy it. The first 5 were a perfect homage to 80s slasher movies with the nighttime camp setting, nonstop chase scenes, gory kills, un-killable killers, twists and turns, and engaging characters that breathed tons of life into a witty script. Episode 6 brings all of that to a screeching halt and is a lot less fun. Some of the very best characters from the first 5 episodes did a complete 180 in their personalities and are now 1-dimensional stooges. The stuff with out-of-nowhere and totally miscast Leslie Jordan was embarrassing; he just doesn't belong in this season. This is the sort of crap that ruined earlier seasons when the writers would start to flip the script, betray the writing of their main characters, and bring in unnecessary characters. The only good parts was anything involving Ramirez (with Zach Villa continuing to shine), but otherwise as an overall episode this one just felt way off from the brilliantly constructed first half of the season. Ironically, the last season I enjoyed was Cult and there was that awful Valerie Solanas episode that stopped the moment at roughly the same point as this one for 1984. But then the rest of Cult reverted to it's prior greatness. Here's hoping the same is true for the last few episodes of 1984.

A great intro to the next chapter of the ahs 1984 story
cameronjames-8695925 October 2019
After the events of episode 5 I was wondering where this series would go but now I see where it can possibly go. Episode 5 the ending of the first chapter now this is the start of the next chapter and I have to say it was a great start. The cast is once again great, the story is interesting and I can't wait to see where they go with it, the kills are brutal, and the character are all great. The only problem I have is the pacing is a little bit off but I see why they did it. Overall I can't wait to see where they take this next chapter and I can't wait to see next weeks episode.

S9.E6 - Pretty Good [9/10]
panagiotis199315 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
(S9. E6) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 9 Episode 6 ''Episode 100''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. It seems like Mr. Jingles doesn't wanna be partners with Ramirez anymore. So now all of them are ghosts. It wont be easy to have a decent plot like that. Trevor is still alive and he has a relationship with Margaret? What the hell? She tried to kill him! Where is Brooke? Is she in prison? Death sentence for Brooke? That is so unfair. Mr. Jingles has a family now? Didn't see that coming. If they kill Margaret at Camp Redwood that means that she will become a ghost and will be there with them for eternity, so its not smart to kill her. So that's it? Brooke is dead? That sucks. Brooke is alive? Hell yeah! Nurse Rita is back too? Nice! Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

100 Eps For The Sake Of 100 Eps???
wandernn1-81-68327420 August 2021
After the debacle of the last episode I don't even get where they will go from here. At least they start with some BILLY IDOL again. FLESH FOR FANTASY!!!! Yeah. +1 Star!

Jingles is getting tired of being Richard Ramirez's 'sidekick'. Ahh here we go with the Satan 'gave you life' stuff again.

I know I certainly can't fight this feeling anymore.

So ghosts are killing tourists and visitors at Camp Redwood. Jingles is enjoying life as a video store clerk. And Ramirez is out there somewhere enjoying pointlessness. This series seems pointless and unfocused. -1 Star.

5/10.
