Rare gem, stellar acting and brilliant filmmaking.

15 min film that resonates on so many levels. Like chefs applying for a position in a Michelin star restaurant cooking a simple egg perfectly often part of their audition. This film is the equivalent of a perfectly executed complete and tasty meal. Deals with what so many of us will be faced with in a human way down the essentials that matter. With zero dialogue, one might think this was an impossibility however, it is not. The calibre of acting every nuance of movement looks from the eyes expressions in their faces all take you on a journey that transcends language. The filmmaking pivot view in meaningful way, keeping what is necessary for the story to move forward for the emotional impact to land in beautiful symmetry.

I can express one criticism, is that Wen, wanting to share this film with others it is impossible to access it. No streaming service and purchase options have been found for this gem. While it remains a sparkling moment in my mind., I am deeply saddened that others are not given the same opportunity. While I feel I can communicate well I lack the skill with the filmmaker and actors were able to deliver just 15 minutes.

Beautifully filmed and acted

This is a very moving short, beautifully filmed and acted that has you on the edge of your seat. Dealing with a difficult subject that must cross most people's minds at some stage, we follow an elderly married couple as the wife, Sheila Hancock, comes to a practical conclusion. Her determination as she attempts to carry it through falters, the result being both intense and emotional. With no dialogue, it is remarkable how vivid both action and facial expression in this little film can convey meaning and feeling without it.

I give this ten stars as I could find no faults at all. Congratulations to all involved.
