Alexander Williams, 45, world-renowned choreographer, is found dead in the Agora in Montpellier, before the premiere of a ballet on memory loss. The company's prima ballerina, Nathalie Parisot, 40, is in a state of shock, not remembering what happened, and becomes the main suspect, for she is covered in the victim's blood. After years away from dance, Williams had invited her to join as she herself was in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Pierre Soler, Lea's father, joins the Gendarmerie as new Colonel during the six months before his retirement, and temporarily settles with his wife in their daughter's house, causing Léa to hide from them her relationship with Grégory, the yoga teacher. Pierre encourages Paul to further his career and become a commander to lead his own brigade.
