Very funny story, and with a contemporary slant, finds Dobie and Maynard getting "professional" help to determine what their future paths in life will be.
Best to discuss it all with wise Mr. Pomfret... who suggests a psychometric test? What's that? Basically, it's a series of aptitude tests to measure skills that would match the "testee" with fields they would be best suited for. Dobie and way confused Maynard do the deed. Looks like Maynard has the most fun, though, spinning round and round in a chair? One more time for good luck?
Two popular character actors play the befuddled doctors; Robert Burton as Dr. Magruder and Dorothy Konrad as Dr. Campbell, who especially has second thoughts about Maynard. Burton not too long after this episode co-starred in the cult film, THE SLIME PEOPLE. Konrad appeared on many sitcoms, especially THE LUCY SHOW.
After all is said and done come the BIG GUNS... Dobie and Maynard are introduced to a six million dollar computer to finalize the brain tests. Really?
