On the WABC-TV channel 7 ABC Evening News on Wednesday June 30th 1976, - (Herbert Jon Antoine Jr. ) - Tex Antoine the weatherman at the time showed a clip of Jeanette Burke in a video back drop for the weather segment. At that time Jeanette Burke worked with the Carriage Horses as a Coachman providing Horse Carriage Rides in and around Central Park in New York City. Jeanette drove the carriages and maintained and took care of the horses and carriages. In the weather segment Jeanette was sitting on top of Horse Buggy on 5th Avenue and Grand Army Plaza, in front of Central Park, NYC. The horses that she has managed and taken care of have won stake races at major race tracks around the country such as, The Meadowland in New Jersey, Pompano Beach FL. Race Track, Laurel Race Track in Maryland, Brandywine Racetrack in Delaware. There are many clips on different news broadcasts of races, with stables and horses on different dates that Jeanette was associated with. A groom or stable person is a person who is responsible for some or all aspects of the management of horses and/or the care of the stables themselves. As a groom or stable person Jeanette of course was responsible for all mannerisms of care-taking with horses. There are many times that there would be pictures of Jeanette with wins and various horses, not all stake races of course, but the race tracks keep archives of many of the races. Jeanette worked long and hard as a Horseman with a great deal of success. There are pictures of Jeanette at the Monticello New York Raceway, in 1984 with a horse name Louise. At that particular moment Jeanette was working at the Sam Fava and the Sophia Racing Stables of Mt. Kisco, New York.
