I saw and episode online and I hated it! Okay, now let's get into WHY I hate it.
1. The jokes are ALL bad. Most don't even make sense. Not only that, but the humor is used OVER AND OVER IN EACH EPISODE.
2. Something about the art style just seems... wrong somehow. The noses aren't the same colors as their faces, their eyes just don't look right, and the sausage-shaped lips just don't sit well with me. And the color palette doesn't help at all.
3. All of the characters are SO ANNOYING! They're just so ambitious and never accept the fact that they can't win all the time! Even in the theme song, they sing 'There is no stopping us!'
4. Each plot of each episode is the EXACT SAME THING EACH TIME! Each episode revolves around some wacky championship happening in their town. They find themselves facing a very skilled opponent, then they always win somehow. THAT'S IT.
5. None of the characters are likeable. I found Fuzz as bland as tofu and I found both Spongo and Jalapena over-ambitious and self-absorbed.
So there you go. These are the five reasons I will NEVER recommend this show to anyone! Thank god it only had one season.
