Self serving piece
adi-2245717 September 2019
I just can't believe in this day and age there are still self serving fiction like this being being made. Produced for self glorification in collaboration with family members. After all the lies and deceit, they still lay claim on the betterment of Malaysia

Nothing more than a propaganda piece
tiadaid17 September 2019
Let me be blunt - this movie is nothing more than a propaganda piece done to shore up the flagging reputation of Mahathir Mohammad. How can it not be a propaganda piece, when you consider that one of the filmmakers is actually his grand daughter? And such biasness shows from the very beginning.

If you want an unbiased view of the 2018 Malaysian General Election & why was it so historic, this is not the movie you want to see...

A film made with love and hope

What a great reminder of how the people of Malaysia came together in 2018 to change the course of the country's direction. Deeply moved and touched by the film. Definitely not a propaganda like what other reviewers seem to think. If you're Malaysian and you are involved in the GE14, please watch it. It made me proud to be Malaysian and I'm you will too.

Enjoyable but just mediocre if you look at it objectively
jswong201916 September 2019
It's a documentary that is put together rather well with a good flow but, as with any documentary with an agenda, it also relies on unproven allegations, suspicions and "unfair edits".

They showed Najib to be a shameless vile buffoon, as if in the months leading up to GE14 there were no vile and toxic statements coming from the mouths of Pakatan leaders and Mahathir himself. They still imply he's a kleptocrat although the latest proceedings in the High Court has disproved quite a few of their pre-GE14 accusations against Najib.

Maybe this film was too little too late, because as much as it tries to "recapture" and pump up the euphoria of last year, the country is tired from non-stop politicking and a faltering economy. If it was released immediately after GE14, like that silly "Rise: Ini Kalilah" was, it would have fared significantly better and might have even been a box office hit because it's genuinely good for that point in time.

But today, only die-hard Pakatan supporters will relate to this documentary with twinkles in their eyes while a regular man-on-the-street will see it as a piece of well-edited semi-fiction.

A film that remind what Malaysia capable of.

If one thing thought you what this film is all about, its about sheer determination and defying all odds. No Malaysian would have thought that Mahathir could won the election at 92 years old other than himself. He did it and he did with style. He is really exceptional.

This is Wrong
Mashraz21 September 2019
Yes, it is wrong to create a movie of propaganda by making other people looks bad but you yourself actualy is different kind of beast.

So sad to watch good actors not doing a favor to tell the ultimate truth. May this movie will rot in the lowest rank of others worst movie ever make.

Remember this, Malaysia

As someone who missed out on voting during the historic GE14; this documentary provided a relief to the FOMO. More importantly, this documentary serves as an apt reminder to ALL of us to cherish our democracy, to continue the fight towards a Malaysia we can be proud of, and to celebrate the feeling of being united.

The star of the show is of course, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah. Phenomenal woman, she - and I hope this documentary would remind Malaysian women too of our powers in building and shaping a nation, and the world.

The biggest joke of the century
kinh-033592 November 2019
Most viewers know this is a piece of garbage after watching it . Malaysia still wants to submit this piece of garbage for Oscars submission . Isn't this is the biggest joke of the century ?

It's inspiring
syusmar3 November 2019
It gave me back the reasons why we are Malaysians...the differences that make us perfect....that unite us no matter what or where we are. It may not be such a great story to some but it's inspiring for me...knowing that I can make that change....again and again...for humanity, for unity....for Malaysia.

An important reminder
SarahLCH883 November 2019
This film is a good reminder of how far Malaysians have come since independence in 1957. Ultimately the power is with the people. The current government should watch this regularly to remind themselves who put them in power.
