Smurf snapping at her chemo treatment was the kind of anger we needed from her, but the flashback scenes were pretty good too. That is a bonus when that is the case because as a whole they have been hit and miss this season.

The casting director fell in a ditch when he/she cast. Emily Deschanel in a role for this series. She can't act and is the fugliest actor they've had in the cast so far. Maybe it's a tradeoff: we're rid of the annoying child, Nicky who shot herself and went to live with her own family in Guam, but now we have to put up with 'Angela'.

I'm just jumping through the scenes with Angela, but they are starting to take up most of the episodes. Smurf has started to look like the Crypt Keeper with tits, so maybe we're nearly done with her. The flashbacks just suck.

Dragging up backstories of Smurf's old crew doesn't help further the story. Having a rather pretty young woman in the young Smurf role is just confusing. Smurf as a granny is butt-ugly, which is part of her persona. Looking at the young Smurf, it's obvious that a whole lot of tragic flashbacks will have to be written to explain the change in Smurf from pretty young woman to Walking Dead zombie in just 30 years. Maybe there'l be a flashback that shows Smurf's face catching fire and Colin beating it out with a bag of quarters.

Yeah, that's the ticket. See? I could write the flashbacks.
