  Alex Danvers : You basically died.

  Supergirl : But I survived. And Lex doesn't know that. That's to my advantage.

  Kara Danvers : They're in trouble.

  Querl Dox : I'll go get James.

  Alex Danvers : [getting into superhero mode, Kara removes her glasses]  I really missed that.

• Lena Luthor : Kara. I was worried. I heard the president tried to silence you.

  Kara Danvers : I'm okay.

  Lena Luthor : Thank god. And then Supergirl?

  Alex Danvers : She's alive, and she's ready to fight.

• Kara Danvers : Brainy, the president had the Secret Service wipe all of CatCo's servers, and I lost all of my evidence. Can you recover it?

  Querl Dox : [calling it onto Lena's plasma]  It's already done.

  Kara Danvers : Yes. Yes! This proves that Lex has been working with Kaznia, and he used Red Daughter to attack the White House.

  Lena Luthor : It also proves that the government gave Lex alien prisoners from the DEO desert facility.

  Querl Dox : Not just the aliens from the DEO facility. J'onn J'onzz, Dreamer, and I have discovered that Lex has been transferring aliens rounded up by Ben Lockwood and bringing them to a private facility, where he's been siphoning their powers.

  Kara Danvers : My god! Well, where is this facility?

  Querl Dox : That information is forthcoming.

  Alex Danvers : Is that where J'onn and Dreamer are?

  Querl Dox : Hopefully. They have been abducted.

  Lena Luthor : What?

  Kara Danvers : Why didn't you tell us that?

  Alex Danvers : Are you serious?

  Querl Dox : That is a rather strong emotional reaction for such an insignficant detail. Our plan is to save the aliens. Those aliens will simply include J'onn and Dreamer.

• Lena's Assistant : Excuse me, Ms. Luthor, this came for you.

  Lena Luthor : Thank you.

  Alex Danvers : What is it?

  Lena Luthor : It's an invitation to the White House. From Lex.

  Kara Danvers : Lena, you can't possibly be thinking of going.

  Lena Luthor : If I don't go, Lex'll come after the people I care about, and I can't have that happen. Besides, if I see Lex, I'll be able to get some stellar quotes for my best friend's article. Speaking of which, Kara, you better start typing.

• Querl Dox : Task executed. Lillian Luthor's extraction device is now mobilized. We can use it extract the Harun-El from Ben Lockwood's system whenever and wherever we encounter him.

  Alex Danvers : Well, then we can use it to extract from James.

  Querl Dox : But first... the time is exactly... now.

  Dreamer : [her astral projection appears]  Guys, Lex's alien power facility is at Shelley Island.

  Alex Danvers : What do you mean "the time is now"?

  Dreamer : Guys?

  Querl Dox : If my calculations are correct, Dreamer has just astral projected into this office.

  Dreamer : You anticipated me being here?

  Querl Dox : She is here. She's wondering in this exact moment how she can contact us, because an astral projectee can place themselves in any environment, but they cannot interact with that environment.

  Alex Danvers , Dreamer : So how is that a good plan?

  Dreamer : Thank you.

• Kara Danvers : Well, how was my article?

  Alex Danvers : This is historic. Okay, people are gonna be talking about this article like they did with Woodward and Bernstein.

  Kara Danvers : I don't care if they're talking about it, as long as they listen to it.

• Kelly Olsen : City's a lot nicer without the tanks and the soldiers, huh?

  Alex Danvers : If I don't see another tactical vest all year, it'll be too soon.

• Kelly Olsen : We have been through a lot of intense stuff together in a short amount of time, haven't we?

  Alex Danvers : That would be the understatement of the century. Yeah.

  Kelly Olsen : So, here's the strange part. I don't want it to end. The closeness with you, it has felt like both the most natural thing in the world and like a revelation. And I hope to God that I haven't made this awkward between us. I just... I haven't felt like this in a long time, and I just felt like I had to...

  Alex Danvers : [kissing her]  Ditto.

  Querl Dox : [passing by, hand in hand with Nia]  Fear not. We see nothing.

• Querl Dox : [playing Exploding Kittens]  Attack card.

  Alex Danvers : [groaning in frustration]  I don't understand. Sorry. How did you get so good at this so quickly?

  Querl Dox : After last we played, I went home and ran 67 billion simulations. Tried to game out the most desirable outcome.

  Kelly Olsen : So you're counting cards?

  Querl Dox : Yes. She gets it.

  Nia Nal : Don't tell people that.

• J'onn J'onzz : Hey!

  Kara Danvers : Yay!

  Kelly Olsen : Hi!

  Alex Danvers : There she is.

  J'onn J'onzz : James will be here soon, and then the whole family will be together.

  Querl Dox : Huzzah!

  Kara Danvers : Where've you been?

  Lena Luthor : [after an awkward silence, she takes out a bottle of wine]  I didn't know what to bring, so I brought red and white.

  Alex Danvers : Yes!

  Kara Danvers : Nice.

  J'onn J'onzz : Well, now that you're here, we can divide up and play "Catch Phrase".

  Kara Danvers : Yeah, J'onn is making us switch up the usual teams.

  J'onn J'onzz : My house, my rules.

  Kara Danvers : But, uh, you're with me, right?

  Lena Luthor : Always.

• Alex Danvers : You're not upset that Brainy's just killing it over there with this game, right? 'Cause you know we're gonna take him down.

  Kara Danvers : Uh, we're gonna cream him...

  Alex Danvers : Yeah.

  Kara Danvers : But... no, I'm, uh... I'm worried about Lena. I have to tell her the truth. I can't keep it from her anymore.

  Alex Danvers : Lena's been through hell. And we finally got to a place where where it sort of feels a little normal again, so, I don't know, maybe you just let her enjoy the evening before we take it away.

  Kara Danvers : You're right. Not tonight.
