Team Sonic Raving Overdrive is a great cartoon that really gets us hype for Team Sonic Racing, which I have no doubt it'll be good. The animation is stunning with quick movements and effects, as well as the beautiful backgrounds with a nice blend of 2D and CGI. The characters are faithfully represented and show so much personality, even without them having dialogue. The plot is a bit simple with them racing trying to get to the finish first, but it throws in little subplots like Eggman trying to sabotage the race and Big getting distracted by Froggy merchandise to keep the viewers more engaged. These shenanigans that the characters get caught up in are pretty hilarious. The facial expression are hilarious, too, something you wouldn't really see in a Sonic game. My only problem with this mini-series is that I wish it was a bit longer, but other than that, Nell Productions, Tyson Hesse, and the rest of the team did amazing on this cartoon as well as Sonic Mania Adventures. If there's ever a Sonic cartoon in the future, I'd love for these people to be in charge of making it. 10/10
