two young zombies have to live in a human city
atomius11 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Maggot and Fungus are two young zombies who live with a family and boarders at a old hotel outside a human city. M and F have to attend school with humans, and so meet a human friend who accompanies them for the rest of the series. The plots include things like guests at the hotel (generally scared into leaving by it's occupants) and school issues. The animation has an interesting quality and the buildings are drawn all out of shape, but that is common in modern animations. The music that is in the theme and as accompaniment is alright, and the harpsichord instrument sounds nice. The shows pretty entertaining and worth watching.

Zombie Hotel: It's Alright We Don't Bite! Review
dardmul23 February 2021
A marvellous children's show that understands, as did Scooby Doo, how much kids are attracted to ghosts, zombies and monsters, Zombie Hotel, like Lazytown and Charlie And Lola, is one of the standout shows that the BBC showed over the summer. There are even moments, particularly in Movie Madness, that will have mums and dads laughing along and with this DVD release, there's something funny to show older kids and to gently frighten younger ones.Beautifully animated - there's something very grim and yet very pleasing about the sight of severed heads in a children's television show - Zombie Hotel is sharply presented in its original 1.33:1 aspect ratio on this DVD, with the rather grimy colour scheme being well preserved.
