What is creativity and why is it important? Comic book artist and cartoonist Jorge Pacheco answers this question at San Diego Comic Fest 2015. He is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Arts in Dover, New Jersey. Mr. Pacheco has worked on many famous characters such as Bugs Bunny, the Power Puff Girls, Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, Garfield, Tom and Jerry, and even had his own syndicated comic strip, "CEO DAD". In addition, he has illustrated 10 children's books. He was also staff artist at Harvey Comics from 1990-1995 and staff artist at "JUNCO/Flamehead" Clothing from 2002-2003. A few of Mr. Pacheco's more recent projects included illustrating a 9 page Pink Panther story for American Mythology Comics, illustrating the cover of Angry Birds' Transformers and Strawberry Shortcake for IDW Comics.

The late Len Wein joins us at Long Beach Comic Con 2014 to tell us why creativity is so important. Veteran comics writer and editor Len Wein is the co-creator of such memorable characters as Wolverine, the New X-Men and the Human Target, as well as the co-creator (with Bernie Wrightson) of the Swamp Thing. In his long and prolific career he has written for hundreds of titles, encompassing nearly every significant character in the medium. He has also built a successful career in TV animation, scripting such hit series as X-Men, Spider-Man and Batman: The Animated Series.
