The falling

When L and Light are against you, you should lose; another step to take back control, for the real Kira.

A thriller/mystery into a car chase action

Wow, that car chase really was some James Bond stuff. This was a super thrilling episode unlike any other Death Note episode. I suppose all Death Note episodes are unique, but you get my point.

Warning: Spoilers
Sensational and spectacular episode. As much as I don't like Light without memory, him working with L is amazing. It was really cool that the police, in the end, helped to arrest the guy. Very interesting to see how they think about everything, down to the smallest details. Reminds me of the Professor from La Casa de Papel, but I believe L and Light are more intelligent. The guy looked very sensational after he caught the Shinigami's eyes, it was chilling. How many episodes will it take until Light returns to normal? It can't be considered a spoiler, right? Episode twenty-three watched on March 6, 2024.

Great Episode RUINED By STUPIDITY!

Warning: Spoilers
So lemme get this straight, L & Light, the smartest characters (THAT HAVE BEEN 100IQ THIS ENTIRE SHOW) doesn't put 2 and 2 together when Higuchi LITERALLY ADMITS OUT LOUD THAT HE POSSESES A NOTEBOOK WHICH IS EVIDENCE THAT HE IS KIRA????!!!!!!... What?!

They literally didn't even MENTION it, not even a reaction to that bit of dialogue that came out of Higuchi's mouth, like whatttt????? Like your telling me L is able to literally figure things out from the most littlest things, BUT CAN'T EVEN FIGURE HOW HOW HIGUCHI WAS KILLING PEOPLE EVEN THOUGH HE LITERALLY SAYS IT! Huh?!...

Also tell me why, when Higuchi comes through to kill the guy that was going to reveal his name, that the police just point guns at him and say "Don't move!", surround him, THEN CONTINUE TO LET HIM REACH FOR SOMETHING IN HIS BAG and say "I'm from the development department" HUUUHHH????? The police KNOW that he is Kira, why are they even letting him speak, why even bother to say "Don't move!" just take him down and arrest him, it was like they were asking him to escape.

It's a shame because this episode actually had pretty good writing but then it just gets ruined by the blatant stupid and in the end, kind of poisons everything considering that a lot of the things that happen after in the plot just start to feel convenient too, like L being able to pilot a helicopter and Watari being able to shoot a gun out of Higuchi's hand clean whiles MOVING in said helicopter, it's something they probably could of got away with if the previous scenes weren't stupid but because they were it just made those moments feel off too.

With that being said, I'd still give this episode a 6, I feel like this could've been one of the best episodes, but the stupidity got in the way of what it had to offer, especially when the 2 of those people being stupid are supposed to be the smartest characters in the show!
