  Gonzo : Maybe the nursery has broken off from the house a-a-and turned into a real spaceship.

  Babies : Huh?

  Skeeter : What if Gonzo's right and we're about to crash into the sun?

  Piggy : Don't be ridiculous.

  Scooter : Yeah, we'll burn up and disintegrate before we ever get that far.

• Rowlf : Wow, Nanny, you really surprised us.

  Nanny : I didn't mean to, Rowlf. I just wanted to tell you that we're having a heat wave, and wouldn't you know it, the air conditioner broke down.

  Babies : Heat wave?

  Piggy : You mean we're not going to crash into the sun?

  Nanny : No, of course not, Piggy. Whatever gave you that idea?

  [everyone stares at Gonzo] 

  Gonzo : [chuckles nervously]  Well...

  Piggy : Nitwit.

• Piggy : I'm ready.

  Scooter : Who are you supposed to be?

  Piggy : The African Queen, of course.

  Scooter : Um, Piggy...

  Piggy : And I'll be waited on.

  [Piggy fantasizes herself as a queen in Africa] 

  Piggy : By my devoted servants.

  Scooter : But, Piggy...

  Piggy : And they'll keep me nice and cool.

  [a Tarzan yell is heard] 

  Piggy : WHAT?

  [Skeeter swings in] 

  Skeeter : Me Tarzaness, queen of the jungle.

  Piggy : [after her fantasy ends]  Uh-uh. No way, Skeeter. I'm the African Queen.

  Skeeter : Oh, no, you're not.

  Piggy : Yes, I am.

  Skeeter : Are not!

  Piggy : Am too!

  Scooter : Wait a minute! You both got it wrong. It's Tarzan, king of the jungle.

  Skeeter : It is?

  Piggy : See? I'm the African Queen.

  Scooter : And the African Queen is a boat.

  Piggy : A what?

  Skeeter : A boat? Well, then Piggy will be just perfect.

• Piggy : Excuse me, Scooter, but I must have heard you wrong. Did you say "BOAT"?

  Scooter : Yeah.

  [pulls out a boat he made with a wagon and some boxes] 

  Scooter : See? And I'm the captain.

  Piggy : [pictures a run-down old boat]  Oh, this boat sure doesn't look much like a queen.

  Scooter : Well, I don't look much like a captain either.

  Piggy : Good point.
