The show opens with Jack Tunney announcing that he has suspended Shawn Michaels and stripped him of the Intercontinental Title. He also says that there will be a battle royal to determine the new champion, with the last two men having a match for the title. The first match is Tatanka versus Rick Martel. This is a solid match. Joe Fowler (who?) gives the RAW Report, announcing the competitors in next week's Intercontinental Battle Royal. Ludvig Borga makes short work of chubby Phil Apollo. Jimmy Snuka makes his comeback against jobber Paul Van Dale (father of current WWE Superstar Carmella). We are shown a replay of P.J. Walker scoring an upset victory over Irwin R. Schyster last week. Vince McMahon interviews I.R.S. and accidentally calls him by his real name, "Mr. Rotunda". I.R.S. blames Razor Ramon for his loss and will be seeking revenge in the battle royal next week. The main event is the Quebecers defending the Tag Team Titles against Barry Horowitz and the 1-2-3 Kid (substituting for a "sick" Reno Riggins. This is a surprisingly good match. The show ends with Vince McMahon interviewing Razor Ramon, who badmouths Irwin R. Schyster. A pretty good episode, all things considered.
