Monk points the gun at Hal using his right hand. The camera view changes and the gun is now in his left hand. The angle changes back and the gun is once more in his right hand.
Stottlemeier is holding the gun in his left hand when talking to Disher at his desk. Stottlemeier asks, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" The camera angle changes, and now Stottlemeier is holding the gun in his right hand.
At the hockey game, Monk makes a big deal about a smudge on the inside of the glass wall and his inability to clean it or do anything about it. But in a subsequent scene where the hockey puck is shot at the wall in front of him and a hockey collision occurs, the smudge is gone.
Obvious stunt double for Hal Tucker during the fist fight.
The references to the Sharks game are real, including those references of Jonathan Cheechoo and Joe Thornton. However, the footage at the game is obviously a mix of a real Sharks/Canucks at the San Jose Arena and footage of Monk at another location. The scene with the few fans shows they're in section 4. In the console, there are signs for sections 17, 18, and 18-B. The San Jose Arena sections are 101-128 for the lower bowl and 201-228 for the upper bowl. Finally, the one Canuck player that comes up to the glass is not a real Canuck player.
