  [Miroku brings Kagome into an embrace, but Inuyasha marches over and breaks them apart] 

  InuYasha : Hands off, priest. Your only family mission is lechery.

  Miroku : I'm a monk, not a priest.

  InuYasha : Don't ever consider laying a hand on Kagome again.

  Kagome : [smiling]  Inuyasha...

  Miroku : Oh, I beg your pardon. I thought you no more than a companion. But apparently you are in love with Kagome.

  InuYasha : Uh...

  Miroku : My, this is awkward.

  InuYasha : [flustered]  Well, you've got it all wrong. She's just a jewel detector.

  Kagome : Hmm? Is that all I am to you? Oh, how could I forget, you got a thing for dead girls!

• Inuyasha : Are you crazy? You could have gotten yourself killed.

  Kagome : I wouldn't have done it if I had any doubts. With a hand that powerful, he could have killed a long time ago if he wanted to. Let's at least give him a chance. Maybe he can lend us a hand.

  [Miroku wakes up and rubs Kagome's rear]
