First Matt joins the Army Corps of Engineers on their ambitious project to fix the Mississippi River. Then, what better place to find big machines than a copper mine. Although driving an enormous dump truck was a thrill, Matt really wants to smash boulders with the Rammer Hammer. Lastly, Matt find the workers at a Swedish paper mill love their big machines so much that they are reluctant to share.

Matt visits St. Louis Cardinal Football Stadium which isn't just big. It really moves, with a retractable roof and a football field which Matt takes for a ride in the sunshine. Next, Matt drives and helps service the world's largest dump truck at an oil sands refinery. Then Matt helps out in the construction of a huge wind turbine but he falls for a wrench as big as his arm.

Matt visits the assembly line for the General Electric Evolution locomotive which is really green no matter what color it's painted. Then he helps the Army Corps of Engineers operate a dredger to keep Mississippi River traffic moving. But once again he gets into trouble pushing the wrong buttons. Lastly he tours a most elegant moving bridge, the Spokane Street Bridge in Seattle.

Matt learns the history and operation of the Goodyear Blimp and can't pass up the opportunity to fly the largest aircraft in the sky. Back down on the ground he operates a tractor that compresses trash to make it fit really tightly into a land fill. Then Matt goes behind the scenes and even into the scenes to learn the secrets of the illusions in Cirque du Soleil's KÀ.
