Warning: Spoilers
Initially, I was against the whole Ghost Whisperer series, because I thought it would get boring with every episode featuring a ghost, compared to, for example, The X Files, where there were different phenomena each week. But, Jennifer Love Hewitt, The Sexiest Woman in the World in 1999 (according to Maxim) and The Sexiest Woman on Television in 2008 (according to tvguide.com), was enough to lure me back on a semi-regular basis (I missed maybe as many as half of the episodes). And lo and behold, the series made it to the second season, rightfully so. There were enough variations and clever ideas to sustain the series for some years, if they were able to come up with them on a regular basis. This episode includes a Wiccan, played by the unconventionally perfect beauty Madeline Zima, who six months later had that memorable topless scene in Californication's Pilot episode. The story here is not exceptional, but the mystery is compelling enough. A solid episode, but the flashbacks, where we are supposed to believe that a 27-year old JLH we see is a high school student, require too much suspension of belief.
