Willa Holland: Kaitlin Cooper

Quotes

  • Gordon Bullit : [on cell]  Hey, Peanut. Just left the airport.

Kaitlin Cooper : We need to talk.

Gordon Bullit : Oh, not if it is about that duty-free booze you asked me to buy.

Kaitlin Cooper : No, definitely not about that.

[closes the door to her room to make sure Julie wouldn't hear]

Kaitlin Cooper : It's... kind of about my Mom. There's a little something I should talk to you about.

Gordon Bullit : Okay, then why don't you meet me at the jewelry store?

Kaitlin Cooper : What are you talking about?

Gordon Bullit : Squirt, I liked your mother before I left, but those e-mails I've been getting lately, especially that last one... let's just say, I like the way her mind works. Yes, she's the girl for me.

Kaitlin Cooper : [elated]  You're gonna ask her to marry you?

Gordon Bullit : Oh, damn, am. Why? What were you gonna tell me?

Kaitlin Cooper : Nothing. She... she loves anything that's an emerald cut.

Gordon Bullit : So you're saying I should ask her?

Kaitlin Cooper : Yes, absolutely. You should totally ask her.

Gordon Bullit : [laughs mirthfully]  "Totally." That's great!

  • Kaitlin Cooper : Mom, he just asked you to marry him. I mean, look at the ring. It's

[creating a new word to match all that bling]

    Kaitlin Cooper : ridonkulous.

Gordon Bullit : [to Julie]  And what about all those e-mails? I mean, I've never seen so many X's and O's. And that would be... hugs and kisses, right?

Julie Cooper : [flustered, taken aback, knows nothing about this]  What... what... what e-mails?

Kaitlin Cooper : [uneasy silence, so she rushes to switch the CD player back on, filling the air with the outlandish Iranian love anthem again]  You know, the music was actually really awesome.

Gordon Bullit : [to Julie]  And especially that last one. You know, the one where you said...

[leaning over and whispering intimate details]

Kaitlin Cooper : [whispering softly to herself as Julie looks at her daughter askew, knowing she's the one behind the e-mails]  Oh, crap.
