An OK 1841 Parallel Time episode, once again Nancy Barrett is outstanding as Melanie.
Kendrick and Gerard uncover Stella's body. They go to Collinwood looking for answers.
Melanie is distraught, telling Flora she believes she had killed Stella but does not remember it.
Kendrick and Gerard arrive and tell them they discovered Stella's dead body. Kendrick pleads with Melanie to tell him the truth but she sticks to the story that Stella left on her own.
Flora tells Quentin the story of what happened to Stella. He tries to figure out the curse of Collinwood with Brutus' letter. Melanie suddenly becomes possessed again. Quentin tries to find out who is possessing her but she will not tell and reverts back to her normal self.
Quentin, Flora and Melanie decide to have a séance to contact Brutus. A spirit speaks through Melanie and says to hold the lottery or the entire family will die of the plague.
