Ready yourself for more reality TV rabble-rousing. The E! competition House of Villains is returning for a second season. Season 1 assembled some of the “biggest, baddest, and most backstabbiest” reality stars in the history of unscripted television, as E! touted. And in the end, it was Bad Girls Club alum Tanisha Thomas who won the $200,000 prize and the title of America’s Ultimate Supervillain. Now another showdown is on the horizon: Host Joel McHale told Entertainment Weekly this month that House of Villains Season 2 will start filming in February. And producers certainly have many villains to choose from. Here are 10 infamous reality stars who — in our minds, at least — could be House of Villains’ next 10 contestants. Christine Quinn Quinn fully embraced her villain edit on Selling Sunset, telling The New York Times that she was going to “give the world a show.” She did just that on the show, clashing...

E!'s House of Villains promised to bring back 10 of reality TV's most notorious baddies for a battle to see who could be the most villainous of them all. But in the end, the winner was the person who made everyone like her the best. Tanisha Thomas, infamous for her stint on the second season of Bad Girls Club, won the final vote from a jury of her peers — including a vote from her biggest enemy in the house — to take the $200,000 grand prize. In the process, she bested The Challenge's Johnny Bananas, who seemed like he had the endgame of the competition completely under his control.

Et tu, Omarosa? On Thursday's episode of E!'s House of Villains, Bachelor Nation alum Corinne Olympios learned the hard way that there's no such thing as a true ally among this group of reality TV baddies.
It's a lesson Corinne should have internalized last week, when Omarosa Manigualt Newman put her and Tanisha Thomas (of Bad Girls Club fame) up for elimination after professing her loyalty to them. Both women were shocked by the turn of events, and Corinne left The Stronghold kicking herself for trusting Omarosa, the reigning supervillain of the week, in the first place.

House of Villains has an all-star reality TV cast, and we’re excited to dive into the new series. Reality TV villains have been around for as long as the television genre has existed, and fans love to hate the scummiest folks who are cast on these shows. Now, these villains have a second chance to shine. So, what makes each House of Villains cast member a true villain? Here’s what crimes they’ve committed in the past.
‘House of Villains’ cast member Jax Taylor from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ brought the drama
It makes sense that the House of Villains cast would include Jax Taylor from Vanderpump Rules. As one of the original cast members, Jax became known for cheating, lying, and causing severe drama.
Eventually, Jax met Brittany Cartwright, and they could sustain a relationship despite Jax cheating on her with their co-worker. At the time, Brittany told Jax to “rot in hell,...

TheWrap recently caught up with the “House of Villains” cast ahead of the series premiere to talk about their reality TV careers and how the genre has evolved over the years.
Omarosa, who is celebrating 20 years in unscripted television since competing in the first season of “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump in 2003, says many current shows feel “manufactured.”
“It’s changed in a way that I think that a lot of people get on TV, and they try to put on airs, or they try to be a character, or they try so hard to be entertaining,” Omarosa replied when asked what’s changed about reality TV. “Whereas I think when we started, we were just truly just out there having fun and being ourselves. And we didn’t have to manufacture drama. So now you just see all this manufactured drama.”

House of Villains, E!’s new series featuring reality TV baddies such as Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor and The Apprentice’s Omarosa, is looking to “lean into the comedy” of the genre, according to its exec producer.
John Irwin, who runs Irwin Entertainment and has produced celebrity house shows such as Celebrity Rehab and Sober House, told Deadline, “From the beginning, our strategy was to lean into the comedy of this concept and for the show to parody itself and the genre.”
Irwin explained that the show, which pits the reality villains against each other via a series of challenges in order to win $200,000, was initially developed by the NBCUniversal-owned cable network.
John Irwin
He said that Joel McHale was their first choice. “Not only is he insanely funny, he’s also a hard-core fan of reality television and familiar with most of our cast from his days on The Soup.

“Rap Sh!t” may not be the follow-up some expect from Issa Rae, but it makes perfect sense. In “Insecure,” Rae made her affinity for rap well-known with her character Issa’s popular mirror performances. So “Rap Sh!t,” which Rae created, is not a radical departure in the least, and the explosion of female rappers like Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Saweetie and others makes the timing ripe. In fact, the story itself bears a noticeable similarity to the rise of female rap duo City Girls, whose members Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee and Jatavia Shakara “Jt” Johnson coincidentally serve as executive producers.
Set in Miami, rappers Trina and City Girls’ hometown, “Rap Sh!t” follows one-time schoolmates Shawna and Mia who reconnect and begin forming their own rap duo. Since high school, the two women have been on different paths. Mia is a fledgling makeup artist and...

Whitney Collings, a cast member on “Bad Girls Club,” died from a fatal combination of alcohol and prescription medications last December at age 33, according to her death certificate obtained by TMZ.
The certificate lists the immediate cause of death as acute intoxication due to the combined effects of fentanyl, cocaine, alcohol and clonazepam — drugs that are known to cause severe reactions when mixed with alcohol. The manner of death was deemed an accident.
Collings passed away on December 3 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Boston. Her burial was held in Peabody, Ma on December 10.
The reality star’s mother confirmed the news on Facebook at the time, writing, “I am completely broken and will never get over this. Life is so unfair. She was kind with a big heart.”
Collings appeared as a 21-year-old in Season 3 of “Bgc” back in 2008-09. She was known as “The Straight Shooter” and celebrated her ties to Boston.

Though Marvel has decided to consolidate all of its cinematic universe offerings onto Disney+, some outliers still live on for other streaming services. In May 2021, Hulu is set to premiere the latest non-canon Marvel series.
The animated comedy Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. is set to premiere on May 21 and stars Patton Oswalt as the titular Marvel villain. Oswalt’s Modok is every bit the devious floating head that he’s depicted as in the comics. He’s also your every day family man and the show will take on the format of a workplace sitcom. In non-Marvel offerings this month, Shrill will debut its third and final season on May 7. This comedy based on Lindy West’s memoir and starring SNL‘s Aidy Bryant has been a consistently bright presence on the streaming scene since...
