As Angelique and Hoffman talk in the East Wing, Dr. Julia Hoffman opens the Parallel Room door and can hear them. She learns the two are planning to destroy Barnabas.
Stokes visits Angelique at Collinwood but she thinks he must treat her as if she were Alexis. In between several glasses of brandy, Stokes thinks that she should be taught a lesson.
Stokes performs a ritual which causes Angelique to feel weak. She recovers and when she goes to him, he explains he has the power over her life force.
Later Barnabas finds Angelique's journal and learns of someone helping keep her alive. The best scene has the room change to the regular time band and Julia sees Barnabas is back again. He says he must return to PT to save Maggie.
