Julia and Elizabeth are talking in the drawing room, the phone rings and Julia answers it, Quentin is coming home with his new bride. Julia does not seem pleased.
Carolyn is now in Barnabas' power and he tells her to hide him in a coffin in the old house, which is where Carolyn lives now with husband Will. We find out Quentin's new wife is Maggie Evans.
We get a lot more information about this time band. Angelique, now dead, was Quentin's first wife. Julia was Angelique's servant and was devoted to her. It seems this Julia is based on the Mrs. Danvers character from "Rebecca". Carolyn also says Angelique was the daughter of Timothy Stokes.

A good ending has a note slipped under the door to Maggie, telling her she is not wanted there, signed Angelique.
