A peculiar film based the immortal vintage novel Don Quijote , considered to be the best literary work ever written that stands in an unique position between the modern novel and medieval chivalric romance . This work was made for television by Rafael Alcázar , though it turns out to be a combination of fictitious and documentary , as well as depicting the periods of lucidity and madness. This is a blending of recreation of the adventures Don Quijote , adding documentary scenes , including a narrator who tells the happenings .
