The movie is adapted from a successful television serials that ran nonstop for three years in the local station. Most of the cast and crews are the same. The actors and actresses have to juggle between shooting for the movie, and for the TV serial.
The movie was firstly released under the tile "Buruan Cium Gue! / Kiss Me Quick!" and became a big hit in its opening week. Muslim groups were offended with the title that "encourages adultery". They pushed the governor to ban the movie, neglecting the fact that the Censorship Board had already passed it with no cut. Raam Punjabi as the producer then took a peaceful step to retract the movie, then re-released it with another title, "Satu Kecupan / One Smooch".
