After vowing to "settle the score" with the mobster who assaulted Albert, Billy quips, "I take it you guys have never watched 'The Sopranos'? These guys don't fight fair; they'll cut off your bits and post 'em to your family". Chris Tardio, who plays Johnny Maranzano (the man who broke Albert's fingers), made his acting debut on The Sopranos (1999).
The Maranzano crime family is taken from The Godfather. They were the family Vito Corleone took on in "The Olive Oil War" in the 1930s. Thanks to the implacable violence of Luca Brasi the Corleones won and took over the Maranzano's gambling interests.
