Hilarious with the Superb Sheila Keith!
bsfraser20034 November 2006
Here is Sheila Keith in one of her best cameo appearances, superb comic timing as ever and delivers her lines very convincingly, if only casting agents had used her more often! A very gifted actress-Sheila had an almost unique ability to get inside the minds of viewers, so good was she at the craft of acting. Unfortunately Ms. Keith was always remembered for her part as Dorothy Yates in Pete Walker's "Frightmare" from 1974. Although a terrifying film, and superbly acted by Sheila, so many of her other roles were overlooked. Sheila had as well as serious drama, a gift for comedy par-excellence! There are other feature films that showcase the ability of Sheila Keith: "House Of Mortal Sin" "House Of Whipcord and "The House Of Long Shadows" they are all well worth having a look.

Time's up for George.
Sleepin_Dragon7 November 2019
George and Gabrielle set off to get some insurance, but a mix up at the medical leads Gabrielle to think that George is not long for this world.

This is one of my favourite episodes, it's so funny and well conceived. There are some great jokes and funny one liners, as always the delivery from each cast member is first class. Sheila Keith is terrific as Doctor Martin, she was so stern, and so funny.

A mass of misunderstandings, this episode is a total joy. I've said before that some of these plots were recycled in sitcoms, years later Peggy Mount's retirement home sitcom You're only young twice would have an episode called Flora's big mistake, in which she would make the same mistake, believing her friend Cissy was dying.
