First episode David Selby speaks onscreen as Quentin Collins.
There is a huge contrast between how Willie Loomis, in 1967, releases Barnabas from his coffin in #1.210 versus how Sandor, in 1897, does it in this episode. Willie used a chisel and hammer to take the chains and locks off of Barnabas' coffin, which was time consuming, whereas Sandor just takes his sword and slides them off with ease. This may be due to the fact that the production crew, including the writers, were building up more suspense with Willie, as they were establishing Barnabas as a new character, while here, Barnabas was well established and the breakaway star by this point in the series.
First episode of the 1897 storyline, which would prove to be the most popular storyline of the series.
