- The villain is shown choosing a concubine, they don't appear to be there by choice. All are wearing clothes.
- Man is depicted peeing on top of another man (meant to be a joke- very common joke in Chinese culture.

- In a flash back a village is attacked and many people are killed, including a characters mother and father.
- A character is killed when hit and lands hard on a wall. Some blood is seen in the corner of her mouth.
- Two teenage boys fight and many punches and kicks land. Then one boy aims a gun at the other but is quickly disarmed.
- Early in the film a village is attacked by soldiers and we see a man killed with a sword. No blood or gore.
- A character is hit with an arrow and is said to be fatally wounded.
- Bullies beat up a kid.
- A teenager shoots elderly man in the chest.
- Violent kung-fu scenes throughout. Hardly any blood though.
