Harriet Nelson: You in a happy mood?
Ozzie Nelson: Well, yes, reasonably so. Why? Shouldn't I be?
Harriet Nelson: Well, I'm afraid we're in for a little plastering work in the boys' bedroom... . When it rained last night, it seeped in through that broken gutter and really messed things up good... . Y'know, I hate to be an 'I told you so', but if you'd had Mr Baxter fix that gutter last week when he was here, this wouldn't have happened.
Ozzie Nelson: Well, Harriet, I told you about that. I just didn't like the man's attitude.
Harriet Nelson: You mean he wanted to be paid for the job?
Ozzie Nelson: Yes, of course, he wanted to be paid, but, I mean, he wanted to make a big project out of it: put in a whole new gutter, when the hole in the old one is only as big as the hole in my bowling ball. I know; I brought my bowling ball up there and showed him.
Harriet Nelson: How'd it finally wind up?
Ozzie Nelson: We went bowling.
