The poetic way in which Barnabas speaks about the power of blood as a life force really adds to the great details in his characterization. "It's like a delicate flower painted under glass", Barnabas says in his description of the slide of Willie's blood, to which Dr. Woodard replies to the beauty of the most vile diseases on earth when seen on a slide, very ironic considering what Covid looks like in a scientific manner. Barnabas gives an indication of what he thinks of the obvious curse of his existence which adds on even more dimensions.

Not as good as the two previous episodes, but filled with intrigue and suspense.
