- When Aunt Phyllis (PJ's idol) comes to town, PJ's enthusiasm cools when the woman begins dating one of her guys. Bobby is far less enthusiastic about meeting one of Mike's baseball idols, a very self-centered has-been.
- Mike is excited to meet former Cub star Danny Finn and (after a push from the boys) goes out with him and Bobby, but the hero proves an arrogant bastard who stuffs them with a huge bill. Brendan lets Wendy decide all wedding preparations, but once he makes it clear the show is meaningless to him, the marriage gets canceled. PJ is delighted with a visit from her out-of-the-box favorite aunt (Phyllis), who surprises most by mating with Kenny, proving Andy's dim view of her correct.—KGF Vissers
- Three heroes crumble when they show that they're merely human after all. PJ's idolized aunt pops in for a whirlwind visit, fitting right in with the guys (and bedding one of them). Mike turns all aflutter when he spots former Cub's player Danny Finn (a personal hero) and joins him (with Bobby along) for an evening loaded with recollections of glory day antics, expensive food and booze. Brendan comes up short when he openly chafes at Wendy's all-her-way dream plans for their wedding.—statmanjeff
