Episode 88 is another follow-on story that leads on from Victoria's escape from her underground prison. Much is made of the ghostly sighting of Bill Malloy, and it transpires that there's some evidence to support Victoria's version, too. Roger ends up being typically bull-headed here.

Warning: Spoilers
Elizabeth and Roger ponder the presence of spirits at Collinwood, particularly in the locked wing, as they deal with the obvious fact that young David seems to be around whenever accidents seem to be happen. Without saying it, Elizabeth labels her nephew as a monster, and yet Roger (one of David's previous victim's) tries to pass off David's actions as nothing to worry about before wondering if his own son is a psychopath. Right afterwards, Elizabeth discovers the seaweed that Victoria had described having been on Bill's ghost. The writing of this episode (which also features Carolyn trying to persuade Victoria not to leave) makes it appear that an episode that was never filmed was planned because there is a great deal cut out between the previous episode where Victoria was discovered and this episode. That leads a continuity gap and makes this a strange episode, if not a weak one.
