Principal Schwinger has Little Pete, Monica and Wayne in his office about to reel out some punishment. But when an emergency comes up, Schwinger has to abruptly leave telling the three friends not to move from their chairs until he gets back. During the excitement, Schwinger forgets about the kids and leaves for the evening. Now Pete, Monica and Wayne have the school to themselves.
Everything goes well until someone remembers that the school has a night watchman. Rumor has it that if he finds anyone in the school he takes them to the roof and chops off their heads. And sure enough, later on they hear the footsteps of the night watchman. But before leaving the school, Monica and Pete have to free themselves of some hurt, and Wayne is along for the ride.
While watching the episode, I was expecting some nice excitement but for some reason was somewhat disappointed at the results. I guess when watching the show as a child, I remember really being scared about the watchman but as an adult the show seemed rather lame. There was some good moments as when Monica is told that a urinal is a foot washer and when Wayne freaks-out when he was suppose to be on watch- those were good scenes. As a child, this episode is terrific but as an adult, this show is just watchable. But for a fan of the series, I hold fond memories of the show.
