  [with snicker in voice:] 

  Cliff Barnes : eleven years before he's ready to go to school and leave Southfork. And you're telling me that you're willing to wait eleven years for J.R. to be free to marry you?

  Mandy Winger : I don't know. But that's still not any reason for me to turn against him and spy for you. We're in love with each other!

  Cliff Barnes : And you don't care about Sue Ellen?

  Mandy Winger : Well, of course I do. But... I can live with that.

  [Cliff nods in mocking way] 

  Mandy Winger : I'm the only woman that J.R. loves.

  Cliff Barnes : You might be the only woman that J.R. *loves*... but you're certainly not the only woman.that J.R. makes love with.

  [Mandy glares at him] 

  Cliff Barnes : That man's incapable of being faithful to anyone.

  [Mandy storms towards the door to open it for her now-unwelcome guest] 

  Cliff Barnes : Okay, look...

  Mandy Winger : [opens door]  You'd better go.

  Cliff Barnes : Okay. Whatever you say. But don't say I didn't warn you. Now I tell you, the next time that J.R. stands you up - he has stood you up before, hasn't he?

  [Mandy's expression gives him his answer] 

  Cliff Barnes : Uh-huh, okay, I thought so. Well, the next time he does, I think you really should check and find out where he is. I think you'll find out that I know what I'm talking about.

  [she can't wait to be rid of him, and he sighs] 

  Cliff Barnes : I enjoyed dinner.

  [he goes off, and she slams the door]
