So, Kirsty and Kane's relationship is out in the open...sort of.To be precise, Rhys and Shelley know. There's some nice acting from Paula Forrest and Christie Hayes in the scenes of two people who love each other but have completely opposing viewpoints try desperately to work through their problem, especially in the almost silent sequence of them doing the washing up together. When Rhys gets involved, the testosterone levels automatically rise although this leads to the superbly crafted scene of Kane and Kirsty both trying to protect each other from him.Dark times ahead.

Aimee's obsession almost leads to tragedy here;the moment where she sees Hayley slip off the cliff and smiles as if it solves all her problems is delightfully sinister.Fortunately Nick and Josh are on hand to avert disaster but her intentions remain secret.

Dani and Brodie have some nice friendship scenes, oblivious to the chaos going on around them. It's a bit of an anti-climax when Josh turns out to be Dani's letter writer;instead of leading to some new character interaction we're just stumbling back into an old one.
