  [he pounds on Jambi's box] 

  Pee-wee Herman : JAMBI! HELP!

  [he keeps pounding on the box and calling Jambi's name, until it finally opens, revealing not Jambi, but an answering machine - the genie is on vacation] 

  Jambi : [on answering machine]  Hi. I'm not here to grant your wish right now. So leave your name and wish after the beep, and I'll be back to grant it just as soon as I can.

  [there's a comically loud "BEEP!" on the machine, and the box closes] 

• Pee-wee Herman : [on the Picture Phone]  Pee-wee's Playhouse, Pee-wee speaking.

  Jambi : Hi, Pee-wee!

  Pee-wee Herman : Hi, Jambi! How's your vacation going?

  Jambi : Great! I wish you were here.

  Pee-wee Herman : Wish? Did somebody say wish?

  [laughs] 

  Jambi : Hey! That's my line!

  Pee-wee Herman : Well, I just wish you'd have a good time. Say, Jambi, where are you?

• [as Pee-wee travels through space via Magic Screen, he comments on what he sees] 

  Pee-wee Herman : G-Force!

  [he stretches his face to simulate high speed effects] 

  Pee-wee Herman : Ahhhh. Meteor shower.

  [stars come out of a giant shower head behind him] 

  Pee-wee Herman : Hi, Venus.

  [he passes a floating replica of the Venus de Milo] 

  Pee-wee Herman : Oh no, I hope we're not going to Uranus.

• Randy : [exhales]  Hi, Pee-wee.

  Pee-wee Herman : Ew! Randy! You didn't brush your teeth this morning. Ew! Peehew! Morning breath.

  Randy : But I brushed them last night.

  Pee-wee Herman : Randy, you're supposed to brush your teeth in the morning too, otherwise, your breath smells like... uh, you know what.

  Randy : What?

  Pee-wee Herman : Morning breath. Besides, Randy, brushing your teeth isn't just for your breath. It's also most importantly to promote healthy teeth and gums. Now come on, Randy. Please, do yourself and all of us a favor, and go and brush your teeth.

  Randy : Can't I find out what today's secret word is first?

  Pee-wee Herman : Yuck! No, Randy. If you scream with that morning breath, you'll clear out the entire Playhouse. Now, come on. Go and brush. We'll wait for you.

  Randy : Thanks.

  [goes to brush his teeth] 

  Randy : [later, after Randy had brushed] 

  Randy : [exhales]  Okay, how's that?

  Pee-wee Herman : Much better, Randy. You know, Randy, if you're good to your teeth, your teeth will be good to you.

• Pee-wee Herman : Do you promise not to laugh at me if I tell you something?

  Miss Yvonne : Of course I won't.

  Pee-wee Herman : You won't promise?

  Miss Yvonne : No, I won't laugh.

  Pee-wee Herman : Well, I'm afraid to go to the dentist.

  Miss Yvonne : Pee-wee, I understand. But it's important to go to the dentist. If you're good to your teeth, your teeth will be good to you.

  Pee-wee Herman : Déjà vu.

• Pterri : I go to the dentist.

  Globey : I do, every six months.

  Chairry : Me too.

  Clockey : You get to ride up and down in a dentist's chair.

  Pterri : And you get to wear a bib.

  Flowers : And get your teeth's pictures taken.

  Miss Yvonne : What do you say, Pee-wee?

  Pee-wee Herman : Can you go with me?

  Miss Yvonne : Of course I will. Oh, and maybe there'll be enough time for me to get a check-up too.

  Pee-wee Herman : All right, I'll do it.

  [everyone screams] 

• Pee-wee Herman : [in pain from a toothache]  Ow! Ow!

  Chairry : Are you all right, Pee-wee?

  Pee-wee Herman : No, Chairry, I'm not all right. If I was all right, would I be moaning, "Ow, ow?" My tooth still hurts.
