When Ginger is flirting with Gilligan , he notices her new dress. She states that she made it out of his duffel bag. However, she has already been seen wearing it in #1.8; "Goodbye Island."
Mr Howell turns on the radio to hear the ten o'clock Wall Street news. He cups his face with his right hand, thumb pointing back toward his ear. But in the next shot it's his left hand on his face, with his index finger pointing upward.
The Howells' hut is supposed to have a dirt floor, but a loud crack can be heard after Mr. Howell's cue chalk falls off the pool table.
Gilligan and Mr. Howell bet 25¢ and continue to bet "double or nothing." Gilligan wins $3 million which could not happen unless a different bet was made at some point and not shown. The title of the episode is "Three Million Dollars More or Less" which covers this discrepancy.
Mr Howell is known to be completely incompetent when it comes to manual labor, including building things, as shown early on when the huts were being built. Yet he produces a full-size, regulation pool table in his hut--which he presumably secretly built by himself--when Skipper says he only bets on pool.
Skipper states that it is the "third day of the week of the third month," or March 3rd. Later Mr. Howell complains about his oyster-shell putter and Mrs. Howell explains that it doesn't feel right because there is no "R" in the month.
